Perhaps the most relevant statistics data that we could gather is presented here:
Data type/Website parameter | Status or value | Our findings |
---|---|---|
Site title (meta) | Northern Nut Growers Association | Sticking to between 50-60 characters for meta title length is a good idea. The length of this website's meta title is 32. |
Website meta description | American-based group provides information on cultivation of almond, chestnut, hazelnut (filbert), pecan, pistachio, and Persian (English, Carpathian) walnut trees as well as of American native fruits the persimmonn and pawpaw. | The length of the meta description is 226 characters. Google recommends up to around 280-320 characters at the most. |
Metadata keywords | nut growing, nutting, nut trees, horticulture, tree grafting, grafting trees, nuts,,nut cultivars, nut tree crop, nut harvesting, nut breeding | Oh. It's unexpected, to put it mildly, to see meta keywords still being used. After all, they are no longer a ranking factor and associate with spam more than anything else. |
Website load speed | Approximately 0.5536 seconds | Website load speed is on a good level, great! But if an improvement can be made, it's always for the better. |
Rank by Alexa | 2,232,317 | We are not fans of the Alexa rank, but if we base our assumptions on it, the website is not that popular. |
Global rank by Quantcast | 708,636, after last update | Based on the gathered data, Quantcast does not consider this website to be popular. Take it for what it's worth. |
Homepage links | Approximately 25 | A good amount of links and nothing to worry about. |
Pages linking back | We counted 77 | Such a low amount of backlinks is insufficient and either shows the website is of low quality, or does not reach a wide audience. |
Size of page HTML | 9KB | This is a very good result, as search engines prioritize websites that are quick to load. |
Server data | Server seems to be online. IP adress for this domain is 64.40.110.195. | Due to lack of data, we can't provide a meaningful insight. |
The basic overview not enough? Let's dive deeper.
A website is not just Quantcast ranks and meta information. There is a whole lot more to it. Let's give it a proper look now, shall we?

Categories of the website | Home Gardening Plants Nuts |
These are not only the possible categories the website falls into, but also areas of interest of the main target audience. |

The following statistics are provided only as an approximation. We can't guarantee the numbers are absolutely correct, but we do believe they are very much within the ballpark and, as such, can give a pretty good idea about the popularity of this website.
Let's start with some telling numbers and then break it all down.
Data type/Website parameter | Status or value | Our findings |
---|---|---|
Average visit time | 2:50 | Visitors spend a decent amount of time reading the website. |
Alexa, perhaps the oldest ranking system of its sort, bases it's website rating on approximated number of visitors of a specific page. In other words, the more visitors, the higher the global and local ranks. As of recently, Alexa has well over four million websites ranked. Having said all that, Alexa rank should be taken with a grain of salt. Or a massive bucketload. In other words, we think it to be greatly overrated, as it never takes into account how popular a website is within its niche.
QUANTCAST is very similar to Alexa, though perhaps enjoys an overall better user opinion even if, by comparison, the data processing company's rank index is smaller. The main interest of QUANTCAST is real-time audience analysis, so again the rank is based on traffic. QUANTCAST gathers this data mainly for advertising purposes of other companies. We know that, so far, QUANTCAST has ranked 442,283,806 websites, give or take a few. With all of this said, Quantcast rank is not really any more useful than that of Alexa and most similar ranking systems. Few of them, if any, take context into account and rate websites purely on traffic numbers (guesstimated, in so many cases). It's by far not the most accurate representation of a website's worth.
What is a server? It's basically a physical storage device (one that, sometimes, makes up several virtual servers for the cheaper shared hosting) that holds all the files and databases associated with a specific website or websites. Obviously, it's a touch more complicated than that (servers also have processors), but the essence is quite simple - your browser contacts the server, which then sends all the neccessary information and files to your computer. Each physical server has a unique IP address assigned to it, too, for easy recognition.
